ADAMANTIA winery, part of the BHR Group, is a family-owned establishment with nearly a century of winemaking tradition, founded in the Toro region in 1951. The vineyards thrive in a unique environment with an extreme continental climate marked by cold winters and hot summers, situated at an average altitude of 715 meters above sea level.
The soils in Toro are primarily sandy and clayey with boulder presence, providing excellent water retention and fostering the development of deep-rooted vines. This combination of soil types and extreme climate is perfect for cultivating the region's native grape, Tinta de Toro (a local clone of the Tempranillo variety), known for producing red wines with remarkable character and structure.
